Emergency Dental Treatment Policy
If you have a dental emergency we aim to offer our registered patients a same day appointment on our normal working days (Mon – Fri). Outside of these hours, we offer our own out of hour’s emergency on call service. The on-call service should be used :
Toothache or swelling that suggests an infection of a tooth or gum
Severe toothache or facial pain which is not controlled by taking over-the-counter painkillers
Trauma of the face, mouth or teeth after a recent accident or injury
A permanent tooth knocked out
Bleeding after tooth extraction that you cannot control
Serious swelling of the mouth or face which is getting worse
Our out of hours on-call service operates from 5.30pm to 8.00pm weekdays, 9.00am to 8.00pm on weekends and 9.00am-12.00pm on public holidays. Please call the practice in the first instance on 01926 422 509. A recorded message will give details of how to contact the on-call dentist.
Depending on the plan you have chosen there may be a call out charge for the use of our on call service.
