Oral Health Education at Local Primary School

Carly, our oral health educator dental nurse, recently visited a local primary school to speak to reception pupils about the importance of oral health. During her visit, she covered a range of topics, including tooth brushing technique, good oral hygiene, and healthy food and drink choices.

Carly demonstrated the proper way to brush teeth and emphasised the importance of brushing twice a day for two minutes. She also discussed the role of healthy food and drink choices in maintaining good oral health, and encouraged the children to choose water and milk over sugary drinks.

At the end of her visit, Carly shared toothpaste and stickers with the children to take home. The children were excited to receive these gifts and were eager to put their new knowledge into practice.
