Is it safe to attend my routine dental appointment?

As the new lockdown begins, you understandably may be apprehensive about leaving your home to attend your dental appointments. Our Practice Manager Chris Locke outlines why you are in safe hands with Euston Place

So is it safe to attend for my routine Dental appointment??

As we enter lockdown 2.0,  we’re are pleased that we have be allowed able to remain open this time round, meaning that we can still be here for you for your routine and emergency needs and to assist you in maintaining and protecting your oral health.

As a practice, we have remained strong since the beginning of the COVID-19 era and have readily taken on the new challenges of providing dental care in light of the restrictions that COVID-19 has unduly forced upon us. Our priority has always been, and will always be, to protect the health and safety of our staff and patients. Each step of our reopening has been done with careful planning and consideration.

Within dentistry we have the advantage that we have always aim to manage cross infection control, our team have all practised it since day one of their training. Along with our enhanced disinfection routines throughout the building, we now have the support of more enhanced PPE, worn to protect both the patients and our clinicians, and robust standard operating procedures which have been development specifically for the COVID-19 pandemic.

All patients who enter the building will have answered questions relating to their risk of carrying COVID-19, so we can ensure those who are knowingly at risk of being infected can delay their treatment. Any treatment recommendations are done with careful consideration of you as an individual and the balance of your need for treatment versus any risk factors.

For further information about the measures we have taken to safeguard your health, you can check out our pre-appointment information pack on our website. We are pleased that our patients who have already attended the practice agree that our COVID-19 secure measures are adequate, with 100% of our recently surveyed patients agreeing with this statement.

So, if you are due your dental appointment and have not yet been contacted to book this in then please do get in touch!
